Artisan Tile NW presents: 7th Annual Handmade Tile Show and Sale

Description: Tile show and sale featuring  artists representing a wide range of tile styles and designs ranging from classic to contemporary, plus ceramic wall and garden art. Prices range from $10-$500. Free admission and free parking both days.

Friday evening the Handmade Tile Festival kicks-off with a juried show of botanical themed tiles from 7-9pm. Guest judges include author and KUOW weekly guest Marty Wingate, Charles Price and Glenn Withey from Dunn Gardens and ceramic artist George Rodriquez.

Saturday from 10am-5pm the festival features tile sales, door prizes and hourly tile-making and tile-design demos plus a presentation by a member of the Northwest Society of Interior Design (NSID) on using artisan tiles in residential design. New  this year: Seattle’s Own “Antique Tile Roadshow”! Bring in photos of historic tiles in your home and experts with the Tile Heritage Foundation will identify the tile-maker. Think your fireplace has old Batchelder or other classic tiles? This is your chance to find out.
